Ellen Ecker Ogden is a food and garden writer, best known as the co-founder of The Cook's Garden organic market garden and seed catalog, and author of From the Cook's Garden cookbook. Over 150 of her articles have appeared in national publications, including Organic Gardening, Eating Well, Vermont Life and The Boston Globe.
Ogden is currently the coordinator for the Vermont Cheese Council, and has served on the executive board of the Vermont Fresh Network. She is a member of Slow
